Will this hurt my daughters skin?

I've noticed that my daughter is beginning to get blackheads on her nose. She is 10 so she's probably starting puberty. Is she too young for me to let her start a skin regiment? I was going to let her use the Neutrogena cleanser, toner, and moisturizer but will it ruin her skin?

Will this hurt my daughters skin?
It is very important to get her on a regiment now!!! That way she knows how to take care of her skin and it is a good bonding experience for the 2 of you. If she gets the habit now she will have it for life. I wouldn't say it will ruin her skin-different people do better with better products. You might have to experement if you see a product not working too well or if you see signs of sensitive skin. Avon sells good acne control products as well as other types too.
Reply:NO, THAT WILL NOT HURT HER SKIN. GO FOR IT. YOUR A GOOD MOM.
Reply:i was about that young when i had to start using cleanser and all the other stuff. whatever you do dont squeeze them! they leave scars on your face :( i learned that the hard way.
Reply:I don't see why you can't suggest some hygeine. I used some noxema stuff and, althought it was slightly a little harsh for my skin, it still worked. My skin is amazing now. I'm 22.
Reply:I started getting blackheads on my nose around ten, too.

The neutrogena system sounds fine and it shouldn't hurt her skin. Just look for any signs of irritation and discontinue usage immediately if it does.
Reply:I would stick strictly to a mild cleanser (Nutrogena is a good choice). No full regime of products needed.
Reply:Neutrogena is really good for your skin it highly recommended and is u r still a little worried then call a dermatologist just to be sure
Reply:i'm ot sure, but let her know,to drink plenty of water, and not coke and caffane stuff, then tell her,to clean her gface 3 times a day,and tell her to put lotion, every morning, and keep her coolput sunscreen on her on VERY sunny days, she can get more black spots!
Reply:i don't think it would hurt at all but if you are worried maybe try mary kay velosity or a more natural regiment
Reply:Neutrogena is probably gentle enough...I have oily but sensitive skin that is acne prone and it works good. Clinique products are even better as they are made for sensitive skin and gentleness, but they cost a bit more.

A word of advice, stay away from the old school Noxema if the skin is oil prone...it may work for some people and be very gentle and moisturizing, but I have always had more breakouts from it. I wish I could use it because I love the smell and the tingle but it is not right for me. A friend told me that there is actually a lot of simple sugar in it, but I don't know where she heard that.

I have seen some new tweenie type stuff advertised, I wouldn't buy into it...it all seems very fragrant and astringent to me.
Reply:START USiNG NATURAL STUFF LiKE LEMON ON HER FACE OR GO TO A DERMATOLOGiST%26amp;ASK THEM WHAT TO USE ON HER.
Reply:No it wont. The earlier you start taking care of your skin the better it will look as she gets older. She will thank you in the future.
