What's wrong with his skin? is this a medical/dermatological issue?

When my younger brother, aged 15,slightly scratch his skin it develops an elevation of his skin following the pattern of his scratch like he was bitten by a mosquito, only that it followed the pattern of his scratch. If he scratches his skin harder, it will look worse. He is overweight by the way and even if no insect bit him and he just scratch his skin, it will elevate . What is this?

his skin is not like this before.....its been months now....

Have him checked for diabetes.
Reply:It sounds like a form of hives that are caused by contact/pressure. He needs to see an allergist specialist. I had them and found out I could get rid of them by not eating anything with wheat in it.
Reply:He could just have very sensitive, dry skin. He could get checked for skin allergies, as it sounds like he could have allergies too. I would also suspect 2 things - he has dry skin (so he needs to drink more water) and that he isn't getting enough sleep. Tired skin marks much more easily than a healthy body that is getting good rest and relaxation.
