How do I tell my friend that she does not have VERY FAIR SKIN?

My friend and I are both Indian. I am extremely fair, while she has a nice tan complexion. In school, when we were younger, we were often teased because our skin was so contrasting. Thus, she is extremely, EXTREMELY sensitive regarding her skin. She puts on so many creams and stays away from the sun. Recently, we were at my house and we were just playing around with makeup. I bought my makeup so that it is suitable for my skin color. The skin makeup looked fine on me, but when my friend started to put some on, she looked like she put a white mask on. I tried to talk her into putting makeup on that suits her skin, but she didn't listen and got very angry at me. She said that the makep suited her and she was very fair, and that i was lying. I don't know what to do. She's just so sensitive about her skin color. HELP!

How do I tell my friend that she does not have VERY FAIR SKIN?
Tell her, what are good things associated with Tan skin. Tell that while you will face sunburns, she can save herself from that irony and like that...

Reply:1st of all i think it's very wrong that in 2007, we are obsessed on the "color" issue. If she is very sensitive about it, let her deal with it. As a friend, you should't tell her that it doesn't suit her, if she wants to wear the same color shade let her.

hahaha no sorry, i had this issue before but that's because I'm just tan. my friend actually tried to steal my makeup hahaha, yeah needless to say her and I don't talk anymore.





Just ignore it I guess, she's has to see herself for who she really is and if shes that insecure let her deal with it alone. Good luck! Girls can be effing ridiculous.
Reply:either take ur and her picture together and then show her and tell her u like her very much and concerned about her also tell her that by putting righet shades she will look good and with a dark skin she will wear ivory it will look horrible or leave her alone she will realize soon
