im young but.. when i come out the shower my foot is wet and it itches when i itch it skin comes off like wtf im realy worried whats wrong with meh!!! my friend said it could be skin cancer!!!!

relax. It is NOT skin cancer. its old dead skin cells. they usually come off right when someone gets out of the shower or when your wiping yourself off with a towel. get a good shower scrubbie and some body wash. use lotion when you get out of the shower. its completely normal I promise

Reply:This actually sounds like you have athletes foot. This is a foot fungus that can cause issues all over your feet, in between your toes and under your toenails....go to the foot care section at your local grocery or drug store and get some Tiactin spray or cream and follow the instructions. Lots of stores like Walmart or Meijer have their own store brands that are less expensive too. Gold Bond makes a power too. Also make sure you totally dry your feet when you get out of the bath or shower. Wear flip flops in the shower at school after gym class or at the YMCA or pool or other public bathing area...don't share shoes with people. Make sure you rotate shoes and don't wear the same pair of shoes all day every day...give them time to dry out. Athletes foot (fungus) likes everything lots of other fungus' like...warm and moist...so let your feet air out! You'll be OK...but it can be pretty miserable if left untreated.
