When you lose weight what happens to your skin?

Say you have a big gut and you lose a whole bunch of weight and also hypothetically your young your sixteen years old, what happens to the excess skin and fat?

When you lose weight what happens to your skin?
the skin just stays there and you look like a shrivled prune
Reply:you get skinny and nothing happens to your skin.............
Reply:"hypothetically" right...., I'd say u are speaking of yourself. Seeing that you are 16, and that you hopefully still have some collagen, cross your fingers and hope that u have good genes, then it( the skin)will bounce right back and tighten up, and the fat will probably go away with cardio and toning. Well is u have stretchmarks then that guarantees that you don't have enough collagen for the skin to tighten up after Ur big weight-loss.

-manzar; strechmarks never go away, they will gradually fade, and turn pale white, but they will always be there unless you remove the skin that has the stretchmarks, if it's in the stomach area, or arms then that's possible, but not on the hips.
Reply:I'd like to add another question. Say you have old stretch marks too, will those go away as the skin and fat disappears and you tone and stuff?
Reply:First let me say don't ever try tolose it fast. If you do then you will have some ugly hanging skin.If you lose in moderation 2-3 pounds a week it gives you body time to firm up where you are losing the weight. Also excercise while losing weight but before you start any kind of weight loss program make sure you see a doctor. There could be underlying factors to being overweight besides eating too much and it could put stress on all of your organs if you stop what you are doing too quickly. I think if you go slowly and start eating healthy you will be fine.
Reply:I think it tightens up and don't be loose any more and you could also help it out by excercising for 30 min a day by doing sit ups pushups all type of ups.
Reply:Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").

The Hoodia sold at http://www.acessite.info/free-diet-pills... is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free sample bottle (there is a $6.95 shipping and handling charge).

Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.
