Ugly Skin..Please Help?//?//?

I am 17 and have I have sort of what I think is ugly skin when I have no makeup on. It goes really red when I cleanse it at night with clean and clear alcohol cleanser. Also I am breaking out lately and its whats makeing my skin look ugly. I am on accutane. Also what can I use to keep it firm, young looking and nice?

Ugly Skin..Please Help?//?//?
The alcohol cleanser is more than likely a significant contributing factor to your skin issues. Are you currently using a toner? Toners work well to balance the pH in your skin mantle which helps fight off bacteria.

You may want to try Arbonne. Our products are:

Botanically based

pH correct

Hypoallergenic

Dermatologist tested

Never tested on animals

Formulated without animal products or by-products

Formulated without mineral oil

I am a beauty consultant with Arbonne and I would be happy to share a free sample with you to see if it's something that works well with your skin. You can also visit my website (below) for a really cool tool that helps with makeup tips and virtual tools. Click on the "Feel %26amp; See The Difference" page on my website, then click on fyiarbonne. Great tool!

Reply:Your skin is not happy with the cleanser you are using. It may be irritating your skin and in return, causing break outs. I would find something milder. To brighten your face, try Physician's Formual Brightener. I love it.
Reply:I have this same problem but I recently started using moisturizer and Clean and Clear acne treatment, and this out of everything I've done has seemed to work the best.
Reply:Boy do I know what you're going through. Being on accutane is not fun. It can make your skin sooooo sensitive. You should use the gentlest cleanser possible, something like Cetaphil. Don't use clean%26amp;clear, it is one of the worst cleansers for skin like yours. You can try a benzol peroxide gel at night if it doesn't dry your skin out too much. Otherwise, just be gentle with it, wash with cetaphil when you wake up and before you go to bed, and give the accutane a chance to start working. When I finished my accutane treatment I had complete strangers coming up to me telling me my skin looked so perfect that it looked like it was air-brushed. Of course that only lasts a few weeks and then a lot of people will start getting some pimples again but nowhere NEAR as bad as what they had before.

Reply:If you are on Accutane, use Aquaphor to keep your skin moist, young, and smooth. It will soothe the skin and irritation while moisturizing it. If it is red, the alcohol cleanser may be irritating you skin. Use a sensitive skin cleanser instead. Witch hazel also works wonders on the skin. Dab a bit on a cotton ball and gently rub it all over your face for smooth skin. It helps soothe and acts as a natural astringent, great for fighting acne.

Steaming your face and then splashing it with cool water helps cleanse your pores, and even brings both blackhead and whiteheads up so that you can gently push the infected pus out with your fingers or some Q-tips.

Tea tree oil work really well on small pimples.

If you have a large, irritating zit, get a regular tablet of aspirin and slightly moisten it with some witch hazel or warm water. Place it on the zit and cover it with a band-aid over night. By morning it should be smaller, less red, and less inflamed.

I wouldn't recommend using toothpaste for zits, it tends to irritate them further, though it can help dry them out.

Also, regular lotions and creams won't help with the dryness that Accutane can cause. If you use a moisturizer or any foundation, make sure it is oil-free.

Hope this helps!
Reply:You need a moe gentle cleansar for your skin. I would try the Velocity cleanser and moisturizer from Mary Kay. This is formulted specially for teenage skin. You don't have to worry too much now about age-prevention, but I'd say by the time you're 20-21 you should switch to an age-fighting skin care regiment. It nevers hurts to start a little early.
