I've lost 40-60 pounds and my skin is all flabby, what do I do?

I'm 19 years old, for the last 7-10 years I've been fat. I recently lost 40-60 pounds and now I have all this loose skin on my stomach, and my arms. (But on my arms it doesn't sag or jiggle or anything, I think because I'm young). But on my stomach I get all these layers of flabby skin if I'm sitting down. Standing up I look fine. Am I doomed to have this flabby skin for life now? Will it go away? Will I have to get a tummy tuck if I want to fix it? Is there any creams or something I could use to tighten it?

congrats on losing the weight!

actually, you may need to do lots of crunches if you haven't been doing those while you've been losing weight.

otherwise, you may need to get that extra skin surgically removed. a lady at my gym is the same way.
Reply:hey im not sure, but i think a little flabby skin is okay. if it bothers you that much i think u can get it cut, the skin. but it costs big bucks.
Reply:I have the same after loosing 65 pounds. Unfortunetly, it doesn't go away. You don't need a tummy tuck.
Reply:I've lost 150 lbs and I'm 24, so I know what you're going through. There are products to tighten the skin, but they take a long time and are expensive. Your skin will naturally tighten up on its own, to a point. Cosmetic surgery is your best bet if you absolutely feel you must have this go away soon, but, obviously, it's the most costly.
Reply:First of all congradulations on fighting obesity young! for your arms if you tone them up and fill them out that should be fine. your mid drift on the otherhand the only thing you can do is get a tummy tuck the best thing to do befor you get a tummy tuck is to build up your abs. when you lose alot of weigh you also lose muscle mass so if you lose it and cut it , it wont hold and you will get a hernia. a hernia is when the stiches dont hold after 1 year. after that they would have to do another surgery and just the wait and lack of activity due to the hernia you will gain weight and you will be back where you were 60lbs ago. so the choice is yours. good luck!
Reply:Lay on the floor , put your legs up straight , towards the ceiling, now keeping them to gather, lower slowly very slowly, I know, this is a stretching exercise but stretching helps sculpt your body, Ya, gotta trust me on this, do this ten times each day. and I'm sure your going to notice a difference. just doing it the first time, take note as to where you feel it.
Reply:What he should do is either one work out more the extra fat tahts involved with the flabby skin will break down into muscle two get a tuck sugery if ur wiling or us whats called a gurdle on certain parts of ur body Its not meant to hide it rele but it will help mainly to hide for a while while the the gurdle "trains" ur muscles and body to pull back int he extra and allow u to look al ittle bettes

After losing all that weight gaining the necesary muscle will be extremely quick and easy unlike what most ppl say

It should take abotu a week for some good results
Reply:It is result of very fast weight loss.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
Reply:Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
