As a person get older, their skin can/will get darker. Just a part of life so not much you can do, unless you don't want to get older. If you can stop getter older (and still be alive) let me know so I can do the same.
Reply:Get together with Michael Jackson. You'll cancel each other out.
Reply:dont do anything its just nature
Reply:You shouldn't do anything. Your pigment is just getting darker. It doesn't mean anything.

I was very pale when I was little. But now that I'm a little older, my skin is a little darker. I think this happens to a lot of people.

Hope I helped! =]
Reply:Just like with hair, which gets darker as you get older, so does skin..it's just natural pigmentation changing..due to sun exposure or age..I've notice as I've gotten older my skin has gotten more "tanned" looking. It's really nothing to worry about, but if it seriously bothers you, you can always go to a dermatologist and discuss it with them.
Reply:Its just a natuaral progression. i was also a lot lighter when i was small. all you can do is use a good sunblock and ovoid tanning further.

If you are getting darker and it seems to be patchy them it could be blemishes and you can use a anti blemish cream that will maek it a bit better. it takes a while to work though.

I dont know if your african but a lot of african people get the blemishes and the cream does help
Reply:Do you want to be darker? Then do nothing. It sounds like you might have sun damage, however. This can be dangerous and lead to skin cancer.

I'd recommend wearing sun screen every day- even and especially on cloudy days.

Hope this helps!
Reply:It seems that you have uneven pigmentation. If so, you should avoid going out in the sun without a sunscreen.

Drink at least ten glasses of water in a day. Drink two glasses of water in the morning when you wake up, before brushing your teeth.

Try applying lime lemon juice to the discoloured area. Do this everyday, and wash off after 15 minutes. You could also apply lime to the affected area at night once in a while, and wash off in the morning when you bathe.

Bleaching the affected area once a month will lighten it too. Do not bleach when pregnant.

Various creams and lotions that claim to reduce pigmenation are also available. You could try them to see if they work for you.

Homeopathy medication has also been known to treat pigmentation, but while there are no guarantees, this medication is safe, has no side effects, and is worth a shot.
Reply:Could it be you are in the sun a lot more? That sounds like it would be the most probable cause. If you would want lighter skin then, I would move to a place with less sun. You could move to Sweden or somewhere in Scandanavian countries. Good luck!
