Butter on skin?

Shea butter tans?


I don`t want to have a tan i`ve been tan enough when i was younger because i went to the pool alot and stayed outside in the sun because i thought that sun creams pervent tanning,i use to be lightskin so i tan very easlily ,now i have a light-med brown skin coulour and my tan seems to be fading over time.When i was young i use to put vasilene on my skin all over i stop when someone told me that it causes tanning so i want to know is does shea butter give me instant tanning when i go outside in the sun? my sister told me that she thinks that it also causes tanning because its butter.I`m using unrefined shea butter(nothing added or taking away) .Are cream lotions the only ones that won`t give people tan?

Shea butter will probably promote a tan as well. You NEED to be wearing a high SPF Sunblock lotion if you don't want any color. Shea butter does nothing but moisturize, and if it has any kind of shine to it you may even burn! Sun Block baby is the way to go!
