A young lady sent me an email and informed me that I make her skin crawl. Since she has not replied back to my question, does anyone know the meaning of this expression? I'm assuming it has some sort of sexual connotation, which, if that is the case, I am flattered, but not interested.

well when you are scared you start to get goosebumps and begin shaking a little bit, giving you the illusion that you're skin is in fact "crawling." This is why the phrase is used to describe something that frightens you or freaks you out, i.e. something that would "make your skin crawl."
Reply:Actually it has no sexual connotation at all. It means basically that your creepy to her or scare her. You give her the creeps, or goosebumps, terms along those lines. Thats basically what it means.

Reply:I think she means , she feel very uncomfortable around you. It depends how it was in the context of the email. I don't think it is a positive thing anyway as far as I know.
Also when people are listening to a scary story, you may hear someone say that too, it usually refers to the hairs on the arms standing on end and that scary tingling feeling that comes with it.
