Are there any effective skin lighteners or scar reducers?

As a young girl, I used to play with the older boys(football and all) but now that im a high school senior, envolved in every club, tennis and volleyball, I have to show my scarred legs at every game, banquet or formal event. Can anyone inform me of a natural or store bought skin lightener or scar reducer that is actually effective???

Are there any effective skin lighteners or scar reducers?

Reply:I had surgery on my foot in December and now have a 2" scar on the side of my foot. When I talked to my orthopod about it, he suggested that I buy some vitamin E oil on it every chance I get and that will lighten it up.





Well I went to WalMart in the vitamin section and bought some and it is a little lighter but I havent really stuck to it though. But I will admit, it makes your skin soft.

Reply:I've always heard that Vitamin K oil helps in the lightening of scars. I haven't tried it but I will very soon.
Reply:All i can suggest is coco butter it helps me,but if you decide to use it make sure you put it on two times a day every day!
