Any advantages of oily skin? perhaps less wrinkles or look younger longer?

The advantages of oily skin are that it protects against age spots, discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles. It also tans easily.





The disadvantage of excess oil is that it can clog pores and cause blemishes. Oily skin is prone to breakouts well past adolescence and give you an oily or greasy feeling, enlarged pores and a chronically shiny-faced appearance.

Reply:Yes, I remember my high school biology teacher telling the girls with oily skin they'll be happy later b./c they'll have less wrinkles than dry-skinned girls.

If oily skin bothers you though, I'd get something called "Rice Paper". You can find it at any beauty stores like Salley's. It's a little sheet of paper that you rub over you face. It picks up all the access oil and applies a thin layer of powder to keep your skin looking glowy and beautiful.

You should clean it well and moisturize all types of skin though.
