Suggest a foundation for my skin?

I'm early 30's and my skin just doesn't look as fresh as when I was younger...my pores seem larger, fine lines, etc. My skin is normal/dry. I've tried Bare Ecentuals, but it doesn't last all day and it looks 'cakey' on me. Dream Matte mousse is ok, but doesn't seem to provide even, all day coverage. My skin is fair with slight reddish undertones. Thanks.

Reply:covergirl has some really good foundations. i have problems with my skin and makeup, but they always seem to work. My face never breaks out.
Reply:Hmm. Suprised Bare Ecentuals didn't work, thats my favorite. If you want you could try a primer (smashbox or mac) and it would make any make up stay on, and MAC has great all around products, you might wanna try that out. Hope it helped :D

Reply:i am also surprised that the bare minerals foundation didn't work too well. you might try philosophy's foundation called the supernatural. i haven't actually tried it yet, but all of their other products are AMAZING! so I'm sure that it would definitely work. it's worth a try.
Reply:have you tried bare minerals? I use it, my mom uses it, my sister uses it, my grandma uses it. It is the best make up I have ever tried. I can NEVER use anything else. Just look at their site and you'll know what I mean
Reply:Cover girl or true match just try to find the closest one to your skin tone and it wont look cakey and you might also want to try a foundation that isnt very perfumey because it may lead to acne and no one wants that! but i would definetly try cover girl . some websites for example www.freakyfreddies.com offer different makeup samples so you can try them without having to buy them , then you could choose the one you like best! i hope this helps. good day!
Reply:First of all do not go with a drugstore brand, if you want quality you want department store quality, expecially for foundation. My favorite foundation is Motives custom blend foundation, it can be custom blended to your exact skin color, but you need a Motives consultant to do the initial formula for you.
