I have slept with my fan on all my life. But I have dry skin and my eyes become irritated easily in air conditioned places. I have begun to wonder whether this is due to the fan.
I also had a sinus problem when I was young and had to have surgery- I think this was because I had a fan blowing on my face every night.
What does everyone think?
Can sleeping with a fan on cause any problems like dry skin?
i think that yes, sleeping with a fan facing you may cause your dry skin. I used to sleep with a fan facing me every night, and got a severe sinus infection. Your best bet would be to do like i had to do, and turn the fan opposite from you, trust me it works wonders

Reply:if you must sleep with a fan on, make sure the air can circulate ...meaning don't close all the doors and windows to your room. And never sleep with the fan blowing on you. Some people have died doing that.
