Red bumps on skin...?

Hi all;

Well, since this being the summer vacation and we're going off to another country for two weeks this sunday I thought it was time to have my first hair removal methode off my legs and arms (I'm sixteen). I went along with my two younger sisters (15 and 14) to the salon and had it waxed.

The thing is that when I got it it waxed, tiny small blood droplets were appearing on my arms but nothing was there on my legs. The woman said thats its because I have very sensitive skin and all the redness would go away within a day. As for my sisters nothing happened to them except a light shade of pink which disappeared after a few hours. Now I have on my upper arms (the parts closer to the shoulders) tiny red bumps that look like pimples and they are really ichy. Similar bumps but much fewer also appear on my upper chest (although the wax never touched it there) Is this some sort of a reaction and would go away within the next few days or is it a skin disease? I'm really worried pls help

Red bumps on skin...?
Well I doubt very seriously its a skin disease so you can be easy but the itchin i would say it would be your reaction to gettin your hair waxed it happened to me when i got my eyebrows waxed for the first time but i am absolutely clueless on why your upper chest would be itching. Or you can be havin an allergic reaction to a lotion you used after you got waxed and your skin was still irritated hope this helps and you get better b4 your vacation have fun!!!!!
Reply:Sounds like you have ingrown hairs under you arms, they will go away once the hair starts to grow again. For you chest, they might be little pimples from sweating.
Reply:you probably had an allergic reaction to it this happens to me when i touch chillies (i can eat them tough strange) anyway try putting some E45 on it it will calm the itching and treat the reaction also maybe take some anti - histamin (hayfever /allergy medicine as this can reduce rashs and allergic reactions)
Reply:OMG You're gonna die.
Reply:its an eggima rash i have it its eahcey right

Reply:Please go see your family Dr.

You may have Shingles. I actually have it right now and I had no idea what it was. But the symptoms sound just the same, the only problem is may be that if you do not go to your dr to get the right medication, you may have long term nerve damage. I am on pain medication to help with the pain and I use Lysine Cream for the itch! I really hope you go see your dr. I would hate to see you go thru this with out proper treatment! Email me if you want more info and how to treat it :)
Reply:Allergic reaction to the wax. Try another type of wax or threading next time. Go see a dermatologist.she/he might be able to tell you what to use before you leave.
Reply:I just purchased a roll on from a fine salon that is made to be used after waxing, shaving, electrolysis, etc. It reduces the apprearnce of red bumps and ingrown hairs. I have been using it on the outer bikini area after shaving (which has always been full of red dots) and it seems to be helping. It's pricey though, $20 for the roll on. I think it's called PBS or something like that. If you're interested I can get the container and write the actual name.
